hi everyone,

it has been a very long time, and i would like to apologize for not being in
touch sooner...

as you probably know if you're on this list, THE STROKES have completed their
touring cycle of their most recent album, "First Impressions of Earth." they are
now taking a much needed extended break, after touring the globe nearly non-stop
since 2001.

--ALBERT HAMMOND, JR. NEWS---

albert hammond jr's solo record, YOURS TO KEEP, will be released next tuesday,
march 6th in the US. YOURS TO KEEP includes both songs featured on the strokes
fan club dvd, in transit. the album also includes two bonus tracks - 'well,
alright' and 'postal blowfish' (available exclusively on the US and canadian
versions).

albert's video for '101', directed by patrick daughters, will debut on
subterranean on MTV2 monday, march 5th at 1am
